Methodology

Eurofins is a UKAS-accredited medical laboratory (No. 9256). Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics UK offers an extensive repertoire of tests run on state-of-the-art analysers, including but not limited to Roche Cobas, Sysmex XN-2000, Stago, Alifax, and Tecan. Methodologies are carefully selected to ensure the highest quality of results, and alternative methodologies may be employed for confirmatory testing. In order to get the most accurate results, you should fast for 8 hours prior to taking a blood test. The best time to take your blood test is in the morning after having fasted overnight.
Make sure you’re hydrated:
Drink 2-3 litres of plain water the day before and at least 500 ml 1-2 hours prior to taking the test. Hydration can affect your results and how well blood will flow from the pinprick site.

Phlebotomy services are NOT included as part of the kit fee.

This kit must be used within 60 days of purchase.

Omega 6:3 results take on average 2-3 weeks to analyse. An interim report with all other results will be made available as soon as possible with the Omega 6:3 results following once ready.
