The Fertility & Hormone test includes 24 biomarkers and is similar to our Sex Hormones Female test, with the additional inclusion of Anti Mullerian hormone (AMH). AMH is a valuable marker for assessing potential fertility issues as it provides insights into female egg count. Similar to our Sex Hormones Female test, the Fertility test comprehensively examines a range of female hormones and their interplay within the feedback loops involving the pituitary gland, thyroid, adrenal glands, and ovaries. This comprehensive approach allows for a deeper understanding of hormonal imbalances and the underlying patterns that may be contributing to fertility concerns. Additionally, the test evaluates key nutritional elements such as lipids and vitamin D, which can provide additional valuable information.

When should I use
This test should be taken when fertility is a particular interest but will also help you to understand: Menstruation issues
Age-related concerns such as menopause management
Energy regulation issues
We separated out AMH from our standard Sex Hormone Female panel due to being an expensive marker and did not want it to become essentially a female tax for women that are not specifically interested in fertility. Fasting for a blood test:
In order to get the most accurate results, you should fast for 8 hours prior to taking a blood test. The best time to take your blood test is in the morning after having fasted overnight.
Make sure you’re hydrated:
Drink 2-3 litres of plain water the day before and at least 500 ml 1-2 hours prior to taking the test. Hydration can affect your results and how well blood will flow from the pinprick site.
This kit must be used within 60 days of purchase.
Please be advised that all Omnos Lab Blood test ranges are based on optimal ranges and standard ranges for Adults 18+. Any use of these tests for under 18 year old patients must be interpreted by a qualified professional rather than using the given ranges.
