Simple & efficient lab testing for health professionals.

Understand, identify and assess viruses with Dr Aristo Vojdani

Lesson aim

Learn how to accurately identify and assess viruses: specifically EBV, CMV, HSV-1, HSV-2, HHV-6, VZV, measles and SARS-CoV-2.

Learning objectives

  • To understand that, among many environmental factors, viruses are major contributors towards autoimmune diseases.

  • To learn that measurements of IgG and IgM antibodies against EBV, CMV, HSV-1, HSV-2, HHV-6, VZV, measles and SARS-CoV-2 can be of great help not just against these diseases but also in determining their contribution towards autoimmunity.

  • To understand that due to the degree of their similarity to human tissue, EBV, HHV-6 and SARS-CoV-2 are the three most major players and contributors towards inflammatory and autoimmune disorders.

  • To realize that due to the molecular similarity between many viruses, the proper interpretation of results must be conducted by the testing laboratory so that the actual cause of the problem may be identified and a proper treatment be devised.
